Inventory optimization model of deteriorating items with nonlinear ramped type demand function

Inventory models for deteriorating items of a supply chain is critical essence to the maritime industry. This study proposes real and economically efficient multicriteria inventory policy with nonlinear ramp functions permissible delay in payment under inflation, two conditions Shortages Followed by (SFI) (IFS) have been considered formulation models. Both consist ordering cost, unit deterioration shortage cost holding replenishment where payments allowed. The development these minimize total average per time. In order validate models, numerical examples sensitivity several major parameters exponential quadratic analyzed. From result, it clear that time IFS model decreases increment values function whereas, as well unite time, SFI decreases. However, if increase, increases. On other hand, will also increase considering condition, increase. Finally, observed case works better than up certain level.
